Installing the Live 8 Legacy Pack in Live 10

I wanted to use some sample sounds that I had used back when I was working with Ableton Live 8, so I decided to install the Live 8 Legacy Pack on my current Live 10 setup.
To start, go to the following Ableton page and click on the Live 8 Legacy Pack to download the software.

The downloaded file is named Live8LegacyLibrary_r30431_v9.0.alp.
This file will be installed into Live.

Double-click the Live8LegacyLibrary_r30431_v9.0.alp file.
Live will launch automatically and the installation will begin automatically as well.

The installed files will be placed inside a folder named Live 8 Legacy Library within the Packs section.
This folder is created automatically, and the contents of the pack will be installed inside it.

There is also an alternative installation method. First, launch Live and click on Packs in the Collections section on the left side of the screen.
Then drag and drop the Live8LegacyLibrary_r30431_v9.0.alp file you downloaded earlier into the Packs section.
This method also installs the pack successfully.

That concludes the installation of the Live 8 Legacy Pack.
